The protestors hurling tomato soup at a painting by Vincent Van Gogh brought phenomenal derisive outrage throughout social media. For me it's a "no harm, no foul" situation:

To recap:
• There was no damage in the least done to the painting which was under protective glass.
• The protest was to draw attention to the pandering of the UK Prime Minister to the fossil fuel industry as we are in a global climate crisis.
• Fossil fuels are being subsidized 30 times more than renewable sources of energy.
• Off-shore wind energy is nearly 9 times cheaper than fossil fuel energy.
• UK Govt. refusal to promote cheaper energy exacerbates the financial hardship of dramatically rising energy costs.
• Civil resistance and protests are legitimate and effective in bringing about societal change.

Interesting. Some say "no PR is bad PR". Something to think about.
