I wasn't very connected to Pop culture in the 80s when Keith Haring was having his greatest impact in the media. He was getting acclaim and running in the social circles with people like Madonna and Andy Warhol.
Haring's now-iconic simple line art of a barking dog was the only image I recall at the time that caught my attention. Years later, when I was making my Tigrikorn Daily Inspiration entries, I chose the simple lines of KH's art to create the above image and fashion Tigrikorn into a drawing he might make.
