Sometimes when I look through old sketchbooks, I remember where I was or the actual experience of making the sketches on particular pages. But most of the time I have nothing but the most scant recollection of it if at all. Sometimes I might have a vague vestige of an emotional connective memory but that might not be anything but false signals.
The above sketchbook spread is one of those forgotten ones. Yet, even so, it pleases me that I can enjoy the sketch doodles on their own as I see them afresh.
