Smart phones and tablets are such game-changers in how we consume stories and media. They provide us with personal media space to watch movies, play games or listen to music whenever we want or wherever we go. Literally at our fingertips 24/7, these extensions of our lives and attention have become little technological paracletes or daemons that shadow our day-to-day activities. It's an amazing thing, really. I'm amazed at how dependent I've become on my own smart phone for information and entertainment. Where it will all lead is anyone's guess.
