Notice how, in the picture above, the muscles of the face showing through the translucent skin are in contrast to the guarded eyes that reveal nothing. A semblance of transparency; the art of hiding in plain sight.
This is a negotiated privacy. A necessity in the brave new world of ever-encroaching surveillance.
