I made this sketch while sitting on the steps of Chicago's Art Institute years ago reminds me of what I love about Chicago in the Summer. Lovely temperatures near Lake Michigan and a vibrant array of cultural events amidst the exciting, bustling crowds are as alluring as when I drafted this postcard scene over three decades past (color wash applied digitally using Adobe Photoshop).
