I enjoyed working on this comic because it gave me a chance to do a fully rendered drawing of "Versatile Man", a character that I made up when I was 11 years old.
In my Artie's pad comic, I poke fun at the character by having Artie's other imaginary friends tease him about the name and concept of "Versatile Man" who can assume any shape.
Yeah, I know, there might be some questionable associations with the term "Versatile Man" in the grown-up world. But as a kid trying to name a shape-shifting super hero back in the day, I felt it was the BEST name! LOL!
