Thursday nite, I saw the DVD "Year of the Dog" with Molly Shannon. It was directed by one of the writers of "Nacho Libre" , Mike White. It's a comedy but has some serious themes. Shannon's character loses her dog and becomes a rabid animal rights activist which rattles her family and co-workers. Great and quirky performances all around. I recommend it.
