A Day of Typical Family Events Worthy of a Time Capsule

Where we lived. (Update: From 2001-2004)

Another gorgeous day! I don't know where I got the idea that it would be chilly...must have been from an out-of-date forecast. I bet hurrican Isabel is keeping the cold front in stasis so it's not coming here until later.

I went to the health club today at lunch and ran 3 miles on the treadmill. I should've ran outside, I guess, but the treadmill tells me calories burned, time, mileage, etc.

After work, I watered the lawn and ran some errands. We had frozen pizza for supper but it was Freschettas pizza and it was tastey.

Yes, I'm a suburban guy. I mow my lawn, take out the trash, fill the bird bath. ...such a life. Melody had intramural volley ball at school today and jammed her index finger. This impacts her violin playing and she's a bit upset by that. So I might not be taking her to volley ball in the morning and she might not go to her weekly lesson tomorrow evening. Emily was doing a comic story for homework (language arts, I think) tonite. She has great lettering skills and her art is good too.

Chacha's off tonite but she has to work double-shift tomorrow. She's a Med Lab Tech at a suburban hospital.

I could tell a lot more about my day. But I'm going to sign off. Time to get to bed before an early day tomorrow.

A sketch I made of my daughters Emily (r) and Melody (l) and I around that time.
