O City of Metropolis, how gleaming are thy towers!
On watch o’er thy ever-bustling days is one with Super Powers.
Scanning your streets and alleys with his vision high and low.
He protects the meek and innocent with rays of crimson glow.
His speeding flight and power defends all who need aid.
And from the Daily Planet’s tower he gives voice to the brave.
