Identity Question

"Are you man or algorithm?" is a question I ask myself as much as anyone. My credit score, my numerous associated ID numbers and now my pattern of behavior on the internet --all these things have formed my identity in a society that is more connected and exploitive than any time in human history.

The measure of my worth is assessed each time I shop, browse, socialize --with just about every move I make. Is there any hope that someone might give me the respect of having greater worth than "the sum of my parts"?

We are all endangered by the trap of our algorithms used against us.
