The photo above is from May 6, 2009 but I can't help using it as a reminder to myself that Spring is near. After the gorgeous weather today and seeing a robin in our back yard for the first time since last Fall, I am so Psyched about Persephone's arrival from the underworld. And my feelings of buoyancy and light-heartedness seem to be shared by people all around me. As I noticed people out and about to enjoy the weather today --couples out walking, people playing fetch with their dogs, cars with windows rolled down-- I'm reminded that the enjoyment of the arrival of Spring is a communal experience.
