These two maple trees never disappoint

I have taken photos of our back yard trees in fall array before and I was determined not to take any this year to avoid redundancy. But looking out onto our back yard from my kitchen this morning, I couldn't resist the charm of these lovely trees. The camera is inept at capturing the ways the colors pop out from the dreariness of the clouding morning.

That's what I like about the Autumn season: the contrast of the monochrome quality of Nature's approaching dormancy with the vibrant colors of the changing leaves.
