In the "Transgressive Lit" novel, Fight Club (1996), the main character eventually signs up for fifty fights in one night! During those fights, his mouth and face sustain torn flesh wounds from ear to ear!
As I made a sketch of what that might look like, I was taken aback at how familiar it looked! It reminded me of the cinematic version of the Batman villain, The Joker.
In fact, as I mentioned in a later posted Instagram download, the character Tyler Durden, his Space Monkey henchmen and Project Mayhem also brought to my mind a scenario fitting for a Joker-based plot in a Batman comic!
