Enhanced Sketch: Mystery Mask

Sometimes I make a sketch and I don't know why.

This image of a mask supported by a branch growing out of a garden wall came to me a couple of years ago. There's a story behind it somewhere. It looks a bit steampunk-ish. I scanned the sketch and enhanced it in Photoshop.
