Such illusions are always fascinating. Real-world illusionists (often called "magicians") are able to boggle the mind and entertain. Artists perform such "magic" as they create the images that engage the viewer's mind to evoke sensations of seeing objects, scenes and vista's that are not "really" there.
This has been the human race's endless pre-occupation since the days of our drawing on cave walls.
